The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) engaged CEI to create and manage the first global NGO capacity building and public relations campaign to build UN donor country public and political awareness of and support for the equality and rights of women in developing countries.

 

CEI recruited population and development NGOs and celebrity spokespersons (as Goodwill Ambassadors) in 13 UN donor countries; together generating more media coverage and public awareness of women's human rights issues in three years than was generated by the UN in all 30 years prior to the campaign.

Walter Coddington served as the Executive Director of Face to Face International.
